For a 150-guest wedding in a metro city, a realistic total is roughly ₹18–24 lakh — between ₹12,000 and ₹16,000 per guest. The classic overspends are consistent: booking the venue before setting a total, adding guests after the catering quote is locked, and leaving the buffer unguarded.
