How the decor checklist works

The tasks fall into four phases. Twelve months out you set the budget, define the palette, and shortlist decorators. Six months out you collect itemised quotes, book the decorator or confirm your DIY plan, and choose seasonal flowers. In the final months you plan reuse across events, confirm lighting with the venue, and review the mood board. In the last month you lock the flower order, schedule a venue walkthrough, and do a final check the day before.
